Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as seen from Peoples Avenue. The very best of the nation's entertainment-symphony and concert orchestras, name bands and variety shows, sports and dramatics-is presented in this huge entertainment center of the Tri-City area. The Field House is quickly converted from the large indoor ice rink into a 5,000 seat auditorium or into a giant 9,000 seat convention hall.
